Windham Ski Weekend Unlocked…
I hadn’t been skiing in 2 years, but it actually is like riding a bike (maybe easier bc I’m not so good on a bike oy!). We rented a condo at the base of the Windham mountain which made skiing on and off sooooo easy. I definitely appreciated that part.
Friday night we ate at Babbler’s, the cozy restaurant inside The Wylder. The bar is really good and they can make a mean martini!
Saturday night we ate at Chicken Run which is basically mandatory for every Windham excursion. The popcorn to start and the ice cream or s’mores to end the meal is the way to go.
My favorite little market is Hickory Hill Market. It has EVERY sort of snack imaginable, delicious fruit and iced coffee with every kind of milk (and my beloved individual flavored creamers- yes I may have “taken” a few ;)
My friend who I ran into had me upstairs to the private club at Windham for a Bloody Mary and the space is spectacular! It feels elite in the chicest way and just super cozy.
Yesterday we ate lunch at Season’s, the restaurant inside the lodge. It’s now a Mediterranean/ Lebanese inspired spot and the food was so yummy. Highly recommend the chicken pita.
For fashion, I wore my Bogner jacket and my Perfect Moment pants. I wore my Bally fur boots that are 18 years old (Jordan got me them when we first started dating - first gift was a hat from a Yankees game he went to and yes of course I remember this!!). A near identical version is here and a shorter and less $ pair here.
The first night I wore what I wore all day and just swapped the boots and bag (the Margaux holds it ALL as I’ve learned after bringing it as my Italy carryon).
The second night I wore this and really winterized the otherwise summery skirt. I loved this look and am so happy I got to wear my new Carolina Herrera little big and my Frame fairisle!
