Summer essentials I can't live without
Summer is finally approaching which means it’s time to run through all of the things I reach for over and over throughout the summer. From beach bags to statement jewelry and even spf, consider this your guide to having a chic but practical summer.
Starting off with bags of course. Everyone needs a rafia bag for the summer and these two are some of my favs. This new Loewe basket bag handles everything you could need from traveling down to the beach or actually hitting the sand. For an under $500 option I’m loving this Zimmerman small raffia tote, more of a ‘just running down to the pool’ vibe but the colors are everything!!!
Wouldn’t be a summer roundup without mentioning the summer star: Pucci!! Their bikini fits perfectly and instantly make any beach or pool look feel a little more fun. Another personal favorite is the headscarf that I have been living in this spring and will be continuing throughout summer. It adds the perfect touch of cool to any outfit, bonus points to make your messy beach hair look put together ;)
Continuing with the accessories theme here, let’s talk jewelry. Statement necklaces are my go-to for spicing up any summer outfit. And I will say they happen to often be beads. I have a top two for you: this ALÉMAIS large beaded necklace is just too cool and will be the entire outfit, and for a more versatile bead these Jennifer Behr tiger eyes go with practically everything!
Any summer look wouldn’t be complete without a hat, sunnies and a flip flop. My pick for sunglasses are these hardware free (!!!) aviators from Celine which I have been grabbing nonstop since I got them. For flip flops the Christopher Esber jellie thongs are a staple in my summer wardrobe and for a dressier flop these from The Row are perfection. As for hats, I love a big sunhat moment and the Loewe canvas hat is tried and true, plus the price is right.
Closing out this roundup lets talk summer colors, all versions. To avoid toooo much color I am always reapplying the Summer Friday’s new SPF for face. Super lightweight and easy to throw in your bag to always have on you. And to be in the summer color palette, Agolde tees in all the different sherbet shades bring that summer touch to any outfit.
